My Aim

In response to various rumours regarding the aim and purpose of the Grail Settlement on Vomperberg, Tyrol, Austria,  Abd-ru-shin (Oskar Ernst Bernhardt|) published the following about what his Aim is and how the Grail Settlement came into being:

"Again and again all possible and often impossible rumours arise about the aim and purpose of the Grail Settlement on Vomperberg in Tyrol.

Such rumours arise, however, out of absolute ignorance, and are spread for the most part with evil intent: for in fact I have not as yet had any firm plan at all.

I have simply written down my Grail Message, which I felt urged to bring to mankind.  Since this Message comprises the knowledge of the entire working of Creation, so perfect as could never have been given before, men recognise precisely therein the way they must follow to enable them to attain to inner peace, and thus to joyful activity already here on earth.

Through this recognition the desire awoke in many a reader to be able to live in my proximity in order to develop himself ever more in this knowledge and to unfold it for experiencing.

As a result of yielding to some of the most urgent of these desires, the Settlement came into being without being "planned" in advance. Thereby I only yielded to the prevailing necessity and roughly formed what approached me in this connection.

Now, however, in view of the persisting false stories, more or less fantastic or permeated with envy and hatred, I shall decide upon a definite plan, and also make this known:

My aim is of a spiritual nature!

But I am bringing no new religion, I do not wish to found either a new church or any sect, but in all simplicity I give a clear picture of the automatic activity in Creation which bears the Will of God, and from which man can clearly recognise what ways are good for him.

I reject all that people seek to impute to me in the way of earthly intentions; for these have arisen from false sources, and have come just through all those individuals who try to spread and use them against me.

Political wishes or "opinions" are also completely remote from me, as I lack the understanding necessary for these matters.

I wish to make the Grail Settlement on Vomperberg in Tyrol a

"Refuge of Peace"

and a

"Source of Spiritual Strength"

For all those who are seriously striving towards such.

Every visitor to the Mountain must perceive what he sees and hears as worthy of emulation, and he shall take away with him this longing unquenchable until he shapes his earth-life accordingly.

Thus men will then inwardly carry peace into their home and into their country, and with it new strength for joyful activity!

Peace is inseparable from contentment! And having its roots there, happiness is bound to develop wherever the aspiration finds the right soil for it.

A Refuge of Peace!                  A Source of New Strength!

To create this on Vomperberg in Tyrol is my only endeavour, and that can bring nothing but benefit to every individual, and thus to every family and every state."
